Congratulations to Seahawks Legend Bobby Joe Edmonds, who will be inducted into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame on May 31, 2018.

Edmonds is a 1982 graduate of Lutheran High School North in St. Louis, Missouri. The Crusaders football program has produced eight athletes, besides Edmonds, who have gone on to play in the NFL, including famed Denver Broncos safety Steve Atwater (Crusaders class of 1984).

After playing football as a running back at the University of Arkansas, Edmonds was taken by the Seahawks in the 1986 NFL Draft, where he would play in the 1986-1988 seasons. He still holds two Seahawks team records: most punt yards gained in a career (1,010 yards) and most punt yards gained in a season (419 yards). Edmonds would go on to play for the LA Raiders (1989) and Tampa Bay (1995) before retiring from football.
