Krieg went from an undrafted third-string QB to one of the most prolific passers in NFL history. Taking over as the starter in the 1983 season, Krieg led the offense to its first-ever playoff appearance, beating Denver in the AFC Wild Card and then upsetting Miami on the road in the Divisional playoffs. In his 12 years with the Seahawks, he was the team’s all-time leader in 31 categories. His NFL career totals rank in the top 10 among all-time NFL quarterbacks in four categories: attempts (5,311), completions (3,105) passing yards (38,147), and touchdowns (261). He was a 3-time Pro Bowl selection (1985, 1989, 1990), and was inducted into the Seahawks Ring of Honor in 2004.
