Paul Moyer Joins PAWS for Rescues
Seahawks Legend Paul Moyer joined the PAWS team for their first Hurricane Harvey rescue this week. He helped move some very heavy dog carriers from an airplane to the rescue vans. If you'd like to help, you can apply to be a foster family or make a donation so PAWS can continue accepting dogs and cats from the affected regions. PAWS is based in Lynwood, Washington, and is a champion for animals: rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people.
Legends & Seahawks Make A Wish Day
Seahawks Legends were front and center for Seahawks Make-A-Wish Day (actually Days) held on August 16-18. On hand for Day 1 activities at CenturyLink Field were: Nesby Glasgow, Ronnie Harris, Paul Johns, Norm Johnson, David Kirtman, Dave Krieg, Paul Moyer and Jim Zorn. And what was in store for the kids on Day 1 was amazing: nine Wish kids and their family members arrived at the stadium on a Seahawks bus. 2016 Jacob Green Golf Tournament
Seahawks Legends, former NFL stars and area celebrities turned out in force for Jacob's annual golf tournament, benefitting the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. The tournament was held at The Golf Club at Newcastle.
A Visit with Paul Moyer
Paul played safety for the Seahawks from 1983-1989, and then joined the coaching ranks as a defensive backs coach for the Seahawks. He maintains a Seahawks connection as a pregame & postgame radio analyst; and his wife is a former Sea Gal, as is his sister, and his daughter is a current member of the Sea Gals.
