Marcus Trufant Bowling Classic

The 15th Annual edition of the Trufant Family Foundation's fundraiser saw another large turnout by Seahawks Legends and Seahawks fans. Acme Bowl in Tukwila, WA, was the site, and the event featured alumni appearances by Walter Jones, Kam Chancellor, Lofa Tatupu, Mike Morgan, and, of course, Marcus Trufant.

Seahawks Legends Run for Sickle Cell

Seward Park along Lake Washington was the site for the 13th Annual Sickle Cell Run, held on Saturday, September 15. Several Seahawks Legends turned out for the event, and all had one thing in common: they were teammates of fellow Legend Bobby Engram, who lost his daughter Bobbi from complications of sickle cell on August 25. Sean Locklear, Lofa Tatupu and Marcus Trufant were all teammates with Bobby, and all were members of the Super Bowl XL team as well. Legends & the 2018 Special Olympics

Four thousand athletes and coaches from all 50 states, 14 sports, and 10,000 volunteers. Inspiring numbers for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games recently held in Seattle. Among those volunteers were a number of Seahawks Legends, who were front and center welcoming the athletes to town, walking with them onto the field during the opening ceremonies, and coaching them during the flag football competitions. The opening ceremonies were held on July 1 at Husky Stadium, and the adjacent flag football fields featured Legends Walter Jones, Dave Krieg, Steve Largent, Ray Roberts and Jim Zorn, all providing coaching tips for the players. Mack Strong’s Golf Tournament

Founded in 2002, Seahawks Legend Mack Strong's Team-Works Foundation empowers youth in Pacific Northwest communities. The Foundation's 11th Annual Banquet Auction and Celebrity Golf Tournament was held on June 29 & 30 at the Golf Club at Newcastle, with a number of Mack's former teammates and friends turning out to help raise money for a great cause.
