Kenny Easley Elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame

And Kenny Easley now makes it an even four Seahawks Legends in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame's selection committee today officially transitioned Easley from "senior finalist" to "Class of 2017." He will join his former teammate, Steve Largent, who was enshrined in the Hall in 1995, as well as Seahawks Legends Cortez Kennedy (enshrined in 2012), and Walter Jones (enshrined in 2014). A Banquet of Champions and Legends

It was Seahawks Legends, Tacoma style, at the Tacoma Dome recently where three alumni were inducted into the Tacoma-Pierce County Sports Hall of Fame. Over 1,000 people were on hand for the 2016 Banquet of Champions on Friday evening, June 24, with Lawyer Milloy (safety, 2009-2010) and Marcus Trufant (cornerback, 2003-2012) taking to the stage. Also inducted was Jon Kitna (quarterback, 1996-2000), who now coaches high school football in Texas, and was unable to attend. A Visit with Lawyer Milloy

A Puget Sound native, Lawyer attended Lincoln High School in Tacoma and played college football at the University of Washington. As a safety, he was a second round pick in the 1996 NFL Draft by New England, and he played in Super Bowl XXXVI with the Patriots. He was also selected to the Pro Bowl four times. Lawyer finished his NFL career in Seattle (2009-2010).
