The White Horse Golf Club, located in Indianola, WA, was the site of the 12th Annual Randall Morris Celebrity Golf Invitational, held Sept. 15 and 16.

A 1½-hour drive and ferry boat ride from Seattle, the two-day event featured a reception and auction at the nearby Suquamish Clearwater Casino on the 15th, followed by the golf tournament the following day at the White Horse Golf Club.

Morris, a running back for the Seahawks in the 1984-1988 seasons, welcomed attendees at Saturday’s reception. Anny Havland from Talk It Up TV was the emcee for the evening, and Seahawks Legends reporter Mike Brown himself headed up the live auction.

Held in conjunction with the NFL Alumni organization, Randall’s Celebrity Golf Invitational featured a number of Seahawks Legends: Mike Allen, Alex Bannister, Nesby Glasgow, David Hughes, Patrick Hunter, Michael Jackson, Paul Johns, Norm Johnson, Kerry Justin, Sean Locklear, Sam McCullum, Alonzo Mitz, and Manu Tuiasosopo.

The winning team featured Legends celebrity Alex Bannister, along with Justin Stewart, Matt Stewart, Jeff VandeMark and Kolby Gaston. They will represent the Pacific Northwest NFL Alumni Chapter at the Super Bowl of Golf at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina on May 3-5, 2019, and will be playing against the other 31 NFL Alumni Chapters.

The Randall Morris Foundation supports charities that have special meaning for Morris.

“Our foundation benefits two charities that are dear to my heart: the Burned Children Recovery Foundation and Mary’s Place. Both organizations have a strong emphasis on children, and both benefit from our events and public appearances,” said Morris.

Add to that a new charity: Talk It Up TV, a non-profit foundation and an award-winning web series which is dedicated to positive media and creating solutions to tragedy.
