One of the top defensive lines in the NFL in the 1980s was in Seattle. Jeff Bryant (1982-1993), Jacob Green (1980-1992) and Joe Nash (1982-1996) were the primary anchors, and combined they played 40 seasons in the NFL – 39 with the Seahawks. They combined for 226.5 sacks, with Jacob Green officially totalling 97.5 sacks, a Seahawks team record.
