As a safety for the Seahawks over four seasons (2003-2006), Hamlin made an immediate impact in his very first career start when he knocked the helmet off Saints wide receiver Donte Stallworth in a hit at home against New Orleans.

Nicknamed “The Hammer,” Hamlin amassed 15 interceptions and five quarterback sacks over his NFL career. He would go on to play for the Dallas Cowboys (2007-2009), Baltimore Ravens (2010), and Indianapolis Colts (2010) before retiring.

Today he resides in Houston and works in sports broadcasting.
