The Seahawks in the 1980s sported a powerhouse defensive line featuring Jeff Bryant, Jacob Green and Joe Nash, and the man behind their success was defensive line coach George Dyer. Dyer came to the Seahawks in 1983 along with head coach Chuck Knox, and was an assistant coach through the 1991 season. He went on to coach for the Denver Broncos as an assistant for eight seasons, earning two Super Bowl rings along the way.
