Tice was a tight end with the Seahawks for 10 seasons (1981-1988, 1990-1991). After retiring from the NFL as a player following his 3 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings (1992-1995), he would go on to join the Vikings as an assistant coach, and was ultimately elevated to head coach in 2002. He remained head coach through the 2005 season before moving on to become an assistant with the Chicago Bears (2010-2012), Atlanta Falcons (2014) and Oakland Raiders (2015-2017).

John Nils Nordstrom is a member of one of the most influential families in Seattle business, who were instrumental in bringing an NFL franchise to Seattle. Five Seahawks Legends and two Seahawks coaches are on the 2019 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. The National Football Foundation (NFF) & College Hall of Fame announced the names, including 76 players and six coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 100 players and 32 coaches from the divisional ranks. The announcement of the 2019 Class will be made on January 7, 2019, in Santa Clara, Calif. The 2019 class will officially be inducted during the 62nd NFF Annual Awards Dinner on December 10, 2019. Add Matt Hasselbeck, Mike Holmgren and John Nordstrom to the ever growing list of Seahawks Legends who are members of the Pacific Northwest Football Hall of Fame. CenturyLink Field was the site of the 29th annual induction luncheon, held May 31, 2018. Legends wide receiver and "voice of the Seahawks" Steve Raible served as the mc. Hasselbeck stands as the all-time passing yards leader in Seahawks history.
