A Visit with Red Bryant

That Joseph Anthony "Red" Bryant wore the same #79 jersey number as Jacob Green while with the Seahawks is no coincidence. Bryant is married to Janelle Green, Jacob's daughter, which makes Jacob Red's father-in-law. As a defensive tackle for the Seahawks for 6 seasons (2008-2013), Bryant had a highlight-filled 2011 season: returning an interception for a touchdown in a game against the Bears in Chicago, setting a team single-season record with 4 blocked kicks, and receiving the team's Steve Largent Award. A Visit with Bobby Joe Edmonds

Although drafted by the Seahawks as a running back, Edmonds saw duty as a punt returner for the team over 3 seasons (1986-1988). He was also an AFC Pro Bowl selection in 1986. Edmonds would go on to play 1 season with the LA Raiders (1989), and was out of football for a few years before returning in 1995 to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He then retired from the NFL.

Happy Anniversary, Steve Raible

Congratulations to Seahawks Legend Steve Raible, who is celebrating 35 years with KIRO TV. Raible is a news anchor for the CBS affiliate in Seattle, and is equally well known as the "Voice of the Seahawks" for the team's radio broadcasts. Raible played his entire NFL career with the Seahawks (1976-1981) as a wide receiver. He recalls of his playing career, "When you remember all your highlights, you haven't had enough of them."  After retirement he moved into the radio broadcast booth, joining then-announcer Pete Gross as a color commentator.
