NFL Business Webinar in July

The NFL will have a Business Webinar on Tuesday, July 18, which will be available to all Legends. The Webinar will be co-hosted by the NFL and Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and it will target Legends who are interested in starting their own business; with a focus on opportunities to learn more in the financial and business areas. The 2017 edition of the Pacific Northwest Football Hall of Fame induction class featured several Seahawks Legends, plus a couple more important Seahawks associates. Joining the 2017 class were: Dave Brown, Blair Bush and Jack Patera, plus team photographer Corky Trewin and Seahawks team owner Paul Allen. The induction luncheon was held on May 19, 2017, at CenturyLink Field, with Seahawks Legend and "Voice of the Seahawks" Steve Raible serving as mc. A Hall of Honor for Ken Hamlin

Former Seahawks safety Ken Hamlin will be inducted this September as a member of the 2017 class of the University of Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor. Hamlin finished his career as the Raxorback’s record holder in tackles, despite playing only three seasons from 2000-2002. He racked up 381 career tackles before entering the 2003 NFL Draft following his junior year. In his final collegiate season, he earned first-team All-America honors from CollegeFootballNews.com, and first-team All-SEC recognition from the Associated Press, SEC Coaches and Sporting News after he recorded 159 tackles, the second-highest single-season total in school ...

RIP Seahawks Legend Rick Tuten

The Seahawks organization, and Seahawks fans, mourn the passing of former punter Rick Tuten, who died unexpectedly in Costa Rica this week. He was 52. The cause of death is not immediately known. Nicknamed "Bootin' Tuten," he played seven season for the Seahawks, 1991-1997, and in 1992 he tied for fourth-most punts in a season in NFL history with 108 punts. He also totaled a career-high 4,760 yards (44.1 avg.) that season. Tuten set his career-high punting average in 1993 at 44.5 yards per punt, and in 1994 he made his lone career trip to Hawaii as a Pro Bowl selection. The nominees are: Robert Gallery (guard - 2011), Jacob Green (defensive end - 1980-1992), E.J. Junior (linebacker - 1992-1993), Dave Dickenson (quarterback - 2002), and former linebackers coach Ken Norton Jr. (2010-2014).
