Former Seahawks DT Cory Redding Announces Retirement

Former Seahawks defensive tackle Cory Redding, who had played in the NFL since 2003, announced his retirement on June 29, 2016. Redding, 35, was a third-round pick out of Texas by the Detroit Lions in 2003. In 188 games with the Detroit Lions (2003-2008), Seattle Seahawks (2009), Baltimore Ravens (2010-2011), Indianapolis Colts (2012-2014) and Arizona Cardinals (2015), he racked up 35.5 career sacks and more than 400 tackles.
