A Visit with Curt Warner
An impact player at running back from his very first carry, Curt played for the Seahawks in the 1983-1989 seasons. Taken as the 3rd pick in the first round of the 1983 NFL Draft, he would go on lead the AFC in rushing his rookie season, and be named the AFC Offensive Player of the Year. Also a three-time selection to the Pro Bowl, Warner would be inducted into the Seahawks Ring of Honor in 1994.

Remembering Doug Thomas
The Seahawks mourn the loss of former wide receiver Doug Thomas, who died on December 19 of an apparent heart attack in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Thomas was a second round draft pick (51st overall) by the Seahawks in 1991. He played in 39 games for the team over 3 seasons (1991-93), including appearances in all 16 games in 1993. That was also his best year statistically, as he recorded 11 receptions for 95 yards. A standout football and track athlete at Clemson, Thomas played on two ACC Championship football teams (1987 and 1988), and six ACC Championship men's track teams.

Remembering Pete Rodriguez
Former Seahawks special teams coach Pete Rodriguez has died due to complications following surgery. He was 74. The family said that Rodriguez died on November 30 and will be buried on December 10. His daughter, Marla, said he died of a rare complication after surgery. Rodriguez served only as a special teams coach in the NFL, though he was also the assistant head coach to Dennis Erickson in 1998 with the Seahawks. Rodriguez' NFL career included the Los Angeles Raiders (1988-89), Phoenix Cardinals (1990-93), Washington Redskins (1994-97), Seattle Seahawks (1998-2003) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2004-06).
